Throughout recent years, I have become exposed to the reality that numerous, innocent people across the world live under unsafe conditions. While I became more and more aware of this situation, I became more angered and saddened for these people as no one deserves to live in discomfort and fear. Upon viewing this artwork, I hope the audience will begin to realize the importance of living within proper homes and strive for everyone to receive this. The bricks, which have built the home, represent strength and resilience to the contrasting flames. Amongst the overpowering fire, the house still upholds itself to protect the bright, welcoming room. Within this room, there is also ayellow heart to symbolize the love and innocence of those who live within.
